Sham Truck is a mobile application that connects people who need goods moved with independent truck drivers in their area.

What we do

Anyone can request a shipment through the app: describe what needs to move and where, and the app matches you with nearby drivers who own trucks suitable for the job — from small pickups to larger freight loads.

Drivers list their vehicle type and load capacity when they register, so the truck that accepts your request is actually able to carry your goods.

How pricing works

The app calculates an estimated price for each trip from the route distance and expected duration, within fair min/max bounds. You see the recommended price before you request the trip.

Drivers send offers for requests they can take, and you accept the offer you prefer. There is no haggling: prices are derived from the route, not from negotiation, so both sides get a reasonable deal without long phone calls or back-and-forth.

How we support safety

• Drivers register vehicle and license documents that are reviewed before they can accept trips.
• Every trip is tracked in the app from acceptance to completion.
• Both parties rate each other after each trip, which helps keep the community accountable.
• Requests and offers expire automatically if not acted on, so goods are never left in limbo.
